The Valco Trust Hall, University of Cape Coast has organised a Send-off ceremony for its immediate past Hall Master and two Hall Tutors to appreciate their exceptional leadership qualities and dedicated services.

They are Prof. Samuel Essien-Baidoo, immediate past Hall Master; Dr. (Mrs.) Rita Holm Adzovie, and Mr. Anthony Acquah- all former Hall Tutors.

The trio were presented with citations for their diligent and selfless leadership that had made Valco Trust Hall an enviable Hall at the University of Cape Coast (UCC).

The newly-appointed Valco Trust Hall Master, Prof. Stephen Ocansey, thanked his predecessor, Prof. Samuel Essien-Baidoo, for the congenial atmosphere created during his tenure. 

He vowed to continue the foundation laid by Prof. Essien-Baidoo, for the tremendous growth and transformation of the Hall.

In a remark, Dr. (Mrs) Rita Holm Adzovie, who is now the Director of the Counselling Centre at UCC, on behalf of her colleagues, expressed appreciation to the new management of the Hall for the recognition.

She appealed to the staff to extend the same support to the present Hall Master to help propel the Valco Trust Hall to greater heights.

Dr. Michael Oteng-Preprah of the Department of Water and Sanitation, as well as Dr. Samuel Kofi Arhin, from the Department of Physician Assistant Studies, are the newly-appointed Hall Tutors.

The send-off ceremony was attended by all categories of workers in the Hall.
