A delegation from Little Rock Sister Cities in the United States of America, led by the Chairman, Edward Haddock, has called on the Vice-Chancellor of the University of Cape Coast (UCC), Prof. Johnson Nyarko Boampong.

The two sides exchanged views on a range of academic issues of shared concern.

The Metropolitan Chief Executive (MCE) for Cape Coast, George Justice Arthur, facilitated the meeting between the Little Rock Sister Cities and the UCC.

The Assembly is drawing up an eight-year development plan to guide the accelerated growth of the metropolis.

The plan aims to strategically transform the Cape Coast Metropolis significantly across all major sectors.

During the meeting, Prof. Boampong expressed gratitude to the delegation for the visit and expressed the interest of UCC to partner with Little Rock Sister Cities.

For his part, Mr. Edward Haddock thanked UCC management for the hospitality accorded the delegation and added that his outfit would partner with UCC to achieve the desired academic results.

The delegation from Little Rock Sister Cities included Brandon D. Morris, Vice Chair, Kelley Eubanks, Secretary, and Travis Rowan, Treasurer.

The Metropolitan Chief Executive (MCE) for Cape Coast, George Justice Arthur, was present at the meeting, with other top officials of the Assembly.
