The UCC@60 Anniversary Committee has submitted its report to the Vice-Chancellor, Prof Johnson Nyarko Boampong.
The committee was constituted by the Vice-Chancellor in October 2021.
The Chairman of the Committee, Prof. L. K Sam-Amoah, presented the report to the Vice-Chancellor at a brief ceremony at the Council Chamber.
Receiving the report, Prof. Boampong thanked the Committee for the yeoman's work.
He added that the financial contributions by corporate organisations towards the anniversary would be used for the construction of the Biomedical and Clinical Research Centre.
For his part, Prof. Sam-Amoah expressed gratitude to the Vice-Chancellor for the confidence reposed in the Committee.
The Registrar, Mr. Jeff Onyame, was present at the meeting.
Members of the Committee present at the meeting included the Secretary, Mr. Nasir Y. Entsie, Dr. (Mrs). Salome Amissah-Essel, Mr. Johnny Bansah and Mr. Kumi Sandy Sinatra.
