The University of Cape Coast (UCC) Alumni Association in collaboration with the Institutional Advancement Office (IAO) has inaugurated Regional Alumni Association branches in the Oti and Volta Regions.
The Vice President of UCC Alumni Association, Dr. Anthony Kwesi Owusu, speaking at the events highlighted the importance of alumni engagements and their positive impact on the development of their respective regions.

The Head of IAO-UCC, Mr. Asante Forkuo, also emphasized the significance of fostering strong connections between the alumni and the University, not only for personal growth but also for the betterment of society.

To ensure the seamless functioning of the newly outdoored chapters, interim management committees were set-up to lead the respective chapters until formal elections could be conducted.
The committees were tasked with organizing future events, fostering networking opportunities, and working closely with the UCC Alumni Association's central leadership.

The Eastern and Greater Accra Regions have been slated next in line to have the Association formally launched.
