Health Finance Committee Presents Report to Vice-Chancellor

The Health Finance Committee under the Chairmanship of the Provost, College of Distance Education, Prof. Isaac Galyuon, has presented its report to the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Joseph Ghartey Ampiah.

The Health Finance Committee under the Chairmanship of the Provost, College of Distance Education, Prof. Isaac Galyuon, has presented its report to the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Joseph Ghartey Ampiah
According to the Chairman, the report was conducted to “review the refund policy and health financing for staff and dependents of the University of Cape Coast and make appropriate recommendations.”

Receiving the report, the Vice-chancellor, Prof. Joseph Ghartey Ampiah, on behalf of the Management of the University, commended the Committee for its tireless effort to produce the report. He indicated that Management would study the report for all the necessary actions to be taken. The Vice-Chancellor added that “This report is a response which will be useful because it will help inform all the necessary decisions that the Management is going to take.”    

            
Present were the Registrar, UCC, Mr. John Kofi Nyan, and some members of the Committee. Members of the Committee present at the meeting were the representatives from the Directorate of Finance (DoF), Directorate of University Health Services (DUHS), University Teachers’ Association of Ghana (UTAG), Ghana Association of University Administrators (GAUA), Senior Staff Association of Universities of Ghana (SSA-UoG) and Teacher Education Workers Union (TEWU).
