The Dean of the School of Nursing and Midwifery, University of Cape Coast (UCC), Dr. Nancy Ebu Enyan, has received Dr. David A. Pearce, the President, Innovation, Research and World Clinic to the University.

Dr. Enyan briefed Dr. Pearce and his accompanying delegation on the activities of the School of Nursing and Midwifery. 

The meeting discussed academic relations between the School of Nursing and Midwifery and the Sanford World Clinic, as well as prospects of enhancing collaboration in various vital fields that would be beneficial to the two institutions. 

It also explored ways in which the two institutions could collaborate in training, faculty exchange and research.

The meeting highlighted the importance of Sanford World Clinic in the preparation of students of the School of Nursing and Midwifery to sit for the National Council Licensure Examination (NCLEX), which is the world's premier licensure exam that uses computerised adaptive testing to deliver the exam.

Dr. Enyan used the chance to present UCC branded mementos to the members of the delegation. 

Later, the delegation toured the School of Nursing and Midwifery Skills Laboratory, as well as the Amonoo-Kuofi Medical Village. 

Dr. Pearce was accompanied at the meeting by Karolina Slack, Executive Director; Erica De Boer, Chief of Nursing; Jamie Stucky, Clinical Educator; Dr. Kweku Darkwa, Vice-President of Sanford World Clinic-Ghana, and Dr. Kojo Taylor, a member of staff of Sanford World Clinic-Ghana.

The meeting was also attended by Dr. Andrew Adjei Druye, the Vice-Dean of the School of Nursing and Midwifery-UCC; Dr. Irene Korkoi, Senior Lecturer; Mr. Victorious Yamoah Hagan, Accountant of the School and Dr. Jerry Paul Ninnoni, the Head of Mental Health Department.
